As a continuation to my Aspire to Inspire Over 40 series, I have an exceptional blogger featured today. She is the owner of a wellness boutique. This young lady is 36, so, she still fits the category of not being a millennial. Let’s learn more about her:
Tell us about yourself. What do you do?
I am Que'Ana Morris Jackson, a city girl with country tendencies; living a simple life. By day, I am a wellness professional that enjoys creative writing, dancing, & fitness; on the weekends I travel and blog about my travels. I also love my husband & children.
What city do you hail from and what do you like most about your hometown?
I hail from the beautiful City of Atlanta. The diversity, Southern Hospitality, and flow of life for minorities to be whatever they want to be.
Where were your favorite places to travel to in the world and why?
I have three favorite places:
Paris, France - I loved the architectural structures of the buildings.
San Jose, Costa Rica - I was able to partake in the Hot Springs by flowing with the water coming from the Arenal Volcano.
Fairburn, GA - The Mants Estates. I needed a place that was close to home. I was able to chill at a retreat by the lake and watch the geese; the onsite chef was awesome too!
Why do you think it is important to travel?
[I believe that it’s important to travel because] Traveling brings about freedom and a "peace" of mind.
What do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to be that I lived my life free of compromise to myself and loved people unconditionally.
Anything else you would like to add for those who want to travel but aren't sure how to?
[I wanted to share one of my favorite quotes] "Get a world map. Find a location. Plan, save, book, & go. Be free. Live simple."
