She’s also from the city I call home. Let’s learn more about her:

What city do you hail from and what do you like most about your hometown?

I am from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and what I love most are the beach and Caribbean food. However, I currently live in Atlanta, GA and I love that I am able to be unapologetically black in the corporate world!

Where were your three favorite places to travel to in the world?

Ghana, Africa, and Barbados

Why do you think it is important to travel?

If you ever want to learn, if you ever want to be educated, travel. If you need to refresh your mental state, all you need is four days to vacation and get your life!

What piece of advice would you share for those who want to travel but aren't sure how to?

It's economical! Just check for deals, and if you can't get many days off for travel, pick a weekend when you know there is a 3-4 day off, like Labor Day for example. LOOK OUT FOR TRAVEL DEALS! Planning a trip out 4-6 months in advance helps as well so you can save monthly instead of putting down $500 at once. Also, AirB&B is your friend, don't be afraid to try it out and save some money.

What do you want your legacy to be?

Hmm, let's see, to be the best version of me possible, and to live limitless, which means not setting boundaries on traveling opportunities.

Well, there you have it! Short and sweet! Thank you, Courtney!
